These graphic images show Andressa Urach, Miss BumBum 2012 runner up, who had ran the risk of having a leg amputated after a botched cosmetic surgery procedure got infected, while she spent last month in the ICU unit of the hospital and the procedure done to save her leg. Andressa, also a host on a brazilian tv show, has had several cosmetic procedures in the quest to be more beautiful. One of these was to have hydrogel fillers injected into her upper legs to fill out her thighs and lift her butt. In the middle of last year after feeling a lot of pain, she discovered that her leg muscles were rotting away not being able to absorb the injected products. She had an operation in July to drain the hydrogel, but kept complaining of pain and discomfort. Last month doctors realized her left leg was infected and was rushed to the ICU unit of the hospital in Porto Alegre. She went into septic shock and there was great fear she would lose her leg. Fortunately after much suffering the treatment in the hospital worked and she is now on the road to recovery.
